Personal shopping assistant

The main goal was to develop a personal shopping assistant for a store. Our context was a DIY store and our target group was an advanced amateur handyman. Here you can find a flash video of our final concept being used.

Concept
The things i learned during this project was how to go through a process of designing an itneractive interface and how to apply a selection of tools, methods and techniques and how to apply these. I also learned how to conduct, analyze and communicate the results obtained from the user research; and learned how to apply several aspects of graphic information and information design in the design process. I also have basic knowledge of electric and electronic components and their application within the design of an interactive products.
